Incomes of the state budget for 2017 made 16,446.9 mln. manat, while expenditures made 17588,3 mln. manat.
Incomes
Incomes of the state budget for 2017 were executed for 16,446.9 mln. manat or for 98,1 percent instead of forecasted 16,766.0 mln. manat.
The Ministry of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan transferred 6,972.0 mln. manat to the state budget executing the income forecast for 91.2 percent.
The share of revenues from the non-oil sector in this funds is 74.5 percent or 5,192.7 mln. manat.
The State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan transferred 2,291.6 mln. manat executing the forecast for 115.9 percent in 2017.
The State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan transferred 6,100.0 mln. manat – the amount considered in the state budget.
During the year, 366.1 mln. manat entered the state budget from chargeable services of the organizations financed from the state budget, 250.0 mln. manat from allocations from the profit of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and 150.0 mln. manat from other revenues.
Incomes of the state budget were executed for 4,401.8 mln. manat in October to December 2017.
Expenditures
Expenditures of the state budget were executed for 17,588.3 mln. manat or 98.0 percent in 2017.
Expenditures of the state budget were executed for 4,804.6 mln. manat in October to December 2017.
During the year, 10,921.1 mln. manat or 24.1 percent of expenditures of the state budget were allocated for current expenses, 5,153.5 mln. manat or 29.3 percent for capital expenditures and 1,513.7 mln. manat or 8.6 percent for expenditures related to maintenance of state debts and commitments.
38.0 percent or 6,690.8 mln. manat of expenditures of the state budget was allocated to financing of social costs (labor payment fund, pensions and social benefits, medicines and food costs), which is 453.7 mln. manat or 7.3 percent more compared to 2016.

State budget deficit
The state budget deficit was 1,141.4 mln. manat or 33.6 mln. manat less than the approved indicator.
The deficit was financed by 384.6 mln. manat from the sale of state bonds, 106.5 mln. manat at receipts from privatization and 650.3 mln. manat from the balance of the single treasury account for January 01, 2017.

Consolidated budget
Incomes of the consolidated budget for 2017 were executed for 23,951.6 mln. manat, while its expenditures for 24,982.6 mln. manat. The consolidated budget deficit made 1.5 percent of the gross domestic product or 1,031.0 mln. manat.
